Ellen has worked in the legal profession for 26 years, starting out as a paralegal for 14 years, before continuing on to study law at Pace University, where she graduated cum laude. Her focus currently centers on negligence, including personal injury, nursing home abuse, wrongful death and dental and medical malpractice. She has also successfully litigated lead paint and black mold cases; mediated and arbitrated labor law, strict liability and products liability cases and has also won cases in the New York State Court of Claims. Ellen effectively and efficiently advocates for her clients through detailed investigation and strategy in order to maximize every case to its utmost fruition.
She has also assisted in the representation of individuals through the difficult and emotional 9/11 claims process. Ellen has been a guest speaker in Rockland County's paralegal program, discussing the invaluable role of the paralegal in the legal community. Ellen has studied, lived and worked abroad in Israel and is fluent in Hebrew, having also worked as a certified interpreter within the New York State Judicial system including the Supreme, Family and Civil Courts.
